1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using architektones.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Architektones is a matching platform that connects international property buyers in Greece with vetted local Greek architects. We facilitate introductions and provide communication tools. We do not provide architectural services, construction management, or financial advice.

3. User accounts

3.1 Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

3.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. Architect accounts require valid professional credentials.

3.3 Account termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or extended inactivity. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

4. User obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide truthful, accurate information in all briefs, profiles, and communications.
  • Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to harass, defame, or harm others.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Platform's operation.
  • Not create multiple accounts or impersonate another person.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

5. Briefs and intellectual property

5.1 Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (briefs, photos, messages). By submitting content, you grant Architektones a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

5.2 Platform content

All Platform content, design, branding, and software are the intellectual property of Architektones and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

6. Architect matching and engagements

Architektones facilitates introductions between buyers and architects. Any contractual relationship, fee arrangement, or service agreement is solely between the buyer and the architect. We do not guarantee the quality, legality, or outcome of any engagement.

7. Fees and payments

Creating a brief and receiving architect matches is currently free for buyers. Architects operate on a credit-based system. We reserve the right to introduce fees, change pricing, or modify the credit system at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Kreditsystem (Architekten)

Architekten auf Architektones nutzen ein kreditbasiertes System, um Interesse an Kundenprojekten auszudrucken. Kredite sind nicht ubertragbar und haben ausserhalb der Plattform keinen Geldwert.

8.1 Kreditpakete

Architekten konnen Kreditpakete uber Stripe erwerben. Alle Preise sind in EUR und beinhalten anfallende Steuern. Nach dem Kauf sind bezahlte Kredite nicht erstattungsfahig, ausser wie im Abschnitt Erstattungen unten beschrieben.

8.2 Ablauf von Krediten

Kostenlose Kredite verfallen nach 12 Monaten Inaktivitat (keine Kreditausgaben). Bezahlte Kredite verfallen nicht. Wir senden E-Mail-Erinnerungen 30, 7 und 1 Tag vor Ablauf. Nach dem Ablauf konnen kostenlose Kredite nicht wiederhergestellt werden.

8.3 Erstattungen

Wenn ein Kunde ein Projekt zuruckzieht, erhalten alle Architekten, die einen Platz fur dieses Projekt erworben haben, eine vollstandige Krediterstattung auf ihr ursprungliches Guthaben (kostenlose Kredite auf das Gratisguthaben, bezahlte auf das bezahlte Guthaben).

8.4 Verifizierung und kostenlose Kredite

Bei der ersten Verifizierung erhalten Architekten einen einmaligen Bonus von 25 kostenlosen Krediten. Wird die Verifizierung widerrufen, werden verbleibende kostenlose Kredite entfernt. Eine erneute Verifizierung unterliegt einer 12-monatigen Abkuhlphase ab dem Datum des Widerrufs.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  • THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
  • ARCHITEKTONES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
  • OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY ACTIONS, OMISSIONS, WORK QUALITY, OR CONDUCT OF ARCHITECTS OR OTHER USERS.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Architektones, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit to the Platform.

11. No professional advice

Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, financial, construction, or architectural advice. We do not verify the accuracy of information provided by users. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any agreement.

12. Dispute resolution

Any dispute between you and another user (buyer or architect) must be resolved directly between the parties involved. Architektones is not a party to and shall not be held responsible for resolving any such disputes.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [GOVERNING_LAW_COUNTRY]. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [JURISDICTION_CITY], [JURISDICTION_COUNTRY].
